Types of New Ancient Man Found In Russia — Early humans found in Russia some time ago. Ancient man was a man who lived at the time thousands of years ago. This time the Russian scientists say they have found ancient human species previously unknown. DNA analysis of teeth and finger bones, discovered in caves in Siberia, show these people, commonly called Denisova, lived more than 35,000 years ago.
Their immediate families are Neanderthals, although there is no strong scientific evidence to say that they are separate species. This raises the theory that there may be types of people who lived in Eurasia at the same time with the ancestors of modern humans.
“One species of early humans in Europe evolved. There are elements of the west, namely Neanderthals and eastern elements, namely those Denisova,“ said Svante Paabo, a professor at the Max Planck Institute in Germany, who conducted this study.
Several species and subspecies of Homo evolved and are now extinct. These include Homo erectus, which inhabited Asia, and Homo sapiens neanderthalensis, which inhabited Europe. Archaic Homo sapiens evolved between 400,000 and 250,000 years ago.
Studies show people with ancestors Denisova married people who now live in Melanesia. This is evidenced by the finding that the Melanesian people have a 4-6% DNA Denisova.
David Reichdari Harvard medical school, who also conducted a study with Paabo said Denisova that genes found in the Melanesian region indicate that their distribution is very broad, covering all Eurasia. “The population they spread tens of thousands of kilometers,“ said Reichdari to the “BBC“.
